Vapor blasting (Dustless blasting) is safest on hard woods, however using finer blast media and lower pressures may allow you to blast softer woods without damage as well. Vapor blasting works wonders for deck restoration! It is a safe, non-toxic solution to strip your deck without any chemicals or airborne particles from the process. Vapor Blasting will only release water vapor into the air, and it is much more powerful and effective than power washing. Not only that, but it’s extremely fast and efficient!
Fire Restoration
Vapor blasting or Dry blasting is a great way to remove soot, carbon and residue after a fire, the process is able to remove the residues, and even charring from wood and other surfaces, without further damaging the structure.
This technique is four times faster than hand sanding and brushing, and leaves wood with what can best be described as an almost “like new” appearance. The process also provides a more thorough cleaning than previous techniques. Vapor or Dry allows the operator to clean deep into small gaps, entirely into corners, behind installed duct work, and in areas where the operator was previously unable to access.
